The Butterfly Books Mobile Library travels to small villages on the outskirts of Siem Riep bringing the delight of reading and imagination to the impoverished village children.
The Tuk-Tuk mobile library carries around 100 English books and for three hours a day the children eagerly enjoy the rare opportunity of reading in English, an experience not commonly offered in state schools.
It is really heartwarming to see the enthusiasm of the children when the Ana Banana Tuk - Tuk schools and the Butterfly Books mobile library arrive at the villages. The positive impact that the English lessons and the colorful books and stories have on the underprivileged village children is outstanding.
