On Saturdays and Sundays, three Ana Banana Tuk - Tuk schools leave from Siem Riep and travel to the surrounding villages to teach local children English. Each Tuk - Tuk visits two villages, one in the morning and again in the afternoon where on average 45 children from each village are taught English by local Cambodian teachers.
In the villages, improvised classrooms have been set up with plastic tables and chairs and in some villages old schools have been given a new life with the arrival of Ana Banana's Tuk - Tuk School. Volunteers and visitors are welcome to visit the villages and see how eager and enthusiastic the children are to learn English. Contributing to the education and development of the impoverished village children is a truly rewarding and unforgettable experience for everyone.
